HOUSTON - Wine tasting at its finest A new educational wine tasting class starting in The Woodlands. Wine professionals will be on hand to educate you and to conduct wine tasting comparisons. We will be showcasing different wineries and wines from California, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, S. Africa, Chile and Texas the first Sunday of every month to the general public. We invite you to join us to learn about fine wines. What you will learn: · How to choose the right wine · How to taste wine – swirl, sip and swish · What to look for in a wine – color, clarity and aroma · How to detect wine quality · How to talk about wine - the etiquette and tips for tasting wine · How to choose wine for occasions, food, and cellaring · Matching wine and food · Handling wine · Information about wine regions · Information on the winemaking process When: Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 Where: Knights of Columbus Hall – Take FM 242 to FM 1488, make right go 1/4 mile on right or 1-45 North to FM 1488, make left go 3 miles on left.
