Event details

If You Can Go to ONE Meeting in 2004 - THIS IS IT !!!

Last announcement for the American Society for Viticulture and Enology symposium and 29th Annual Meeting in Roanoke, VA on July 13-16. Grapes, Wine and Environment: How Soils, Cultural Practices and Warm Climates Affect Wine Quality. Features a pre conference tour of SW VA wineries and vineyards (Tuesday, only $70), speakers from France (the wine maker from Ch Cheval Blanc, what more reason do you need to attend?), Australia, Ontario, California and Oregon on enology and viticulture topics, Viticulture Consortium East research summit and a wine industry trade show and wine receptions as well as other meals and events. It is rare that we get a meeting of this quality and depth in our region. If you wish to gain a better understanding of how your vineyard works, even if you are in a cool climate, and how to grow better wine, this meeting will illuminate. It's not often that we get someone from I hope everyone in the region will attend. Registration materials and information are available at http://www.nysaes.cornell.edu/fst/asev/ or call Nancy Long at 315.787.2288 or NPL1@cornell.edu.
