    Oak Barrels

    I never let my barrel go empty and dry. Once I fill a barrel and age the wine, I bottle batch, rinse, let it drip for a few hours and refill. I will generally get 5-7 batches before replacing the barrel. I am currently down to 3 barrels but at one point had 6.
