Amateur winemaker and grapegrower. I live in central Nebraska on a small acreage where I grow black currants, domestic gooseberries, apples, sour cherries, and twelve varieties of wine grapes. Wild chokecherries and wild plums, and wild grapes also grow in abundance and have been used for winemaking. My most unusual adventure in winemaking would have to be a prune/raisin/goldenrod which met with indifferent success. A baco noir I made a few years would rank as my most satisfactory wine.
