I'm in!!! I think it would be a great time to get together with a group of wine-makers in the 'Southern Burbs' of Denver to either form some type of club, or simply put together a co-op to buy grapes, equipment, or whatever to make and consume some great wines. Anyone?

225 gallons - Colorado Merlot fermenting, 3000 lbs - Sanoma Cabernet Sauvignon and 3000 lbs Primativa enroute. 15 gallons of trail wine (peaches, plumbs, marion berrys, apples and cherries from my backyard and along our area trails). Also, we just bottled 130 cases of wine from our '08 run.

Mark,
I met several Denver area winemakers at Wine Fest last month that were talking about forming a wine co-op. This was before this web page existed. Hopefully some will see it and get in touch with you.
making wine with a group is a blast. I know as I've been making wine this way for 22 years. Our group is at capacity we literally have no more room for any new members. We have a waiting list which is a nice positon to be in. That said I'll try to help you in any way that I can.

Cameron,
We have no room. Fact is we had to buy four new tanks just to handle what our members wanted this year. A nice position to be in.
Not sure Courtney has a mailing list. He did buy a lot of grapes form us this fall. You might send him an e-mail

Any new news on either a group or co-op in the southern communities??? We would love to get together with other people to form a new co-op if there is no room in any others. What a good way to get more experience and meet new people all the while getting better prices on goods for this exciting hobby/endeavor. wave.gif
