In the last 7-8 months or so me, along with a partner (named... Israel  ) have been working on a joint project to set up an interenet based operation to promote homewinemaking israel and spread Knowlage among small wineries (which most are run but untrained winemakers).

We cover all aspects of winemaking:
Beginers - Basic simplified steps of winemaking, Recipes (for grape and fruit wines),instructional videos. (from crusher to bottle - yeast rehydration, pressing, crushing, tips&tricks and all the basics)
Advanced - Articles (indepth winemaking with theory and science) and an interesting Winemaking news section which brings scientific, research and blog articles from the web into notice.

-In the near future we will be offering basic testing services such as Fso2,Tso2,reducing sugars,Paper chromotography,Ta,pH in affordable prices and possibily offer enzymatic testing for VA, quantitive acids and Ammonia (YAN) if the market is there.

-A new system, dedicated to Vintners to show off their vinyards and interact with home winemakers and wineries to sell fruit and find investors for plantings. (perhaps do a commerical share holding type of thing)

-Winemaking club and wine competitions.

My advice may or may not be backed by actually personal expirience and should be treated as such. :)

Will you be putting up an English translation of your site?

Google translate is rather incompetent when it comes to Hebrew (from or to) but I will likely do a English version of the website at some point , we still have alot to accomplish toward the harvest.

On my wish list would be that good, Kosher wines are created. I'm not Jewish, but we do attend events from time to time at which they only offer Kosher wine. There are only one or two which are just okay; the rest we just can't drink. I feel there is a huge market in the U.S. of people who attend events who would like to have good wine, but have it meet the requirements. Otherwise, the evenings are very long with no good wine. It seems that it would be a very large market, good, drinkable Kosher wine. Much success and we hope you all create some good wines!

Haha... I heard Herzog winery http://www.herzogwin....com/whatis.php
Produces decent kosher wines.

Also look for wines imported from israel, there are some great wines to be had. (but not awefully cheap though)
If you like late harvest\desert look for this one

Also recenty a winery which employs mentaly challenged (is this the correct term?) people started exporting to the US.

They also have an awesome syrah reserve which is a classic example of a complex warm climate syrah aged in oak.
