I have decided to sell my original crusher destemmer. I got a good deal on a bigger one and will not be using this. It is the standard entry level machine. I stripped it down and had it sandblasted and powder coated. I put all new bearings including a $125.00 main thrust bearing. The stand is custom built with a stainless steel chute designed to fit over a brute. The motor is a 3 phase motor. You will need to buy a phase converter (http://dealerselectr...tem.asp?PID=417) which makes it a variable speed machine. I am keeping mine for a corker I bought that uses 3 Phase. I also built a slide in cover for the destemmer basket that essentially shortens the basket to minimize jacks.

Please contact me with any question. The unit is in Burlington, WA which is an hour North of Seattle. I haven't set a price yet so at this point I am entertaining offers / trades.

Great looking unit. I love the mods. They make this unit better than anything you can buy new.

Agreed. I have seen this unit up close and it is quality. I would buy if I didn't just purchase a destemmer....

Beautiful. Overkill for my needs but it is really nice! (I got a basic one that will work for me this past year.)

How about this: In exchange for your destemmer, I'll be a walking advertisement for you. I'll get a Silver Bell Winery tag to hang on my stethoscope at work. When I'm off work I'll sometimes wear a Silver Bell Winery T-shirt or cap. In between car washes, I'll write "Silver Bell Winery" with my finger in the dust on my truck. If anybody asks me for a wine recommendation (people tend to do that), I'll strongly suggest Silver Bell Winery. If for some reason I find myself on the media, like a TV gameshow or news interview, I'll mention Silver Bell Winery ("I'll take 'amazing wines of Silver Bell Winery' for $1,000, Alec. That's not a category? It should be!" "Yes, thanks to my medical team we were able to save all of the children on the bus that the train crashed into. And let me just say that Silver Bell Winery is awesome!").

How about inserting little silver bells in patients during surgeries, Bret? That would bring Calamity fame in no time! roflmao.gif

... the tell tale bell! No extra charge for the jingle! You might be sued if you left one in a cat burglar! lmao.gif

And instead of giving the kids regular cartoon stickers after the visit, I could give them Silver Bell Winery wine labels.

Not a bad idea on the bell inserting idea, Wade. There's a few people I'd like to hear coming. :P

Alas, I have as many foil/capsule spinners as I do crusher/destemmers (zero). If I see one for sale I'll let you know, though.
