A few more points: these kits will be available on a year-round basis, not just as a special order.

They're a bit different than the old Crushendo: it comes with a straining bag for the grapes--no more muss!

It also comes with a second pack of oak for post-fermentation addition.

The final trial I tasted before I went on vacation really pleased me: this is a grapeskin kit that delivers a very fruit-forward, strongly structured wine that will drink well-brilliantly well, in my opinion--almost immediately. It does have ageing potential, but you're not going to have to hold it for 18-24 months to get a ton of drinking pleasure out of it.

That is great news! I like the straining back for the grape pack, the secondary oak and the inclusion of the labels. WE labels are awesome! And now I'll have a good Nero and Petit Verdot kit available year around. The other two sound interesting as well. I would love to see a dolcetto as well sometime.

I believe I may have to make 2 of each kit and run them through the 40L Vadai over the next 18 months. Nice going, Tim.

Damn! At noon today I purchased a Spanolds Chilean Malbec. Oh well, I'll just have to order the Wine Expert Malbec Shiraz and do a taste test. And while I'm at it, I'll have to order the other three. They all sound yummy! Thank you, Tim!

K-9, we don't dictate retail pricing, but expect it to be between whatever your retailer charges for Selection International and Estate Series.

They all sound good, but Petit Verdot is a favorite grape of mine . . .

this sounds good . I might have to bring a couple back to the UK with me.
The thing thats been holding me back from making wine here is having to age them for 2 years when I've only got 28 months left in london.

Tasted the Nero d'Avola today (also had another snort of the Petit Verdot, just to be sure). It's not the aggressive fruit monster that the PV is, but it's smoooooooth. I'm very pleased.
