will this pump h308 slow down enough for racking in to bottles? If so will a racking cane or some sort of bottle filling gun be needed?

it cativates at real slow speeds. The smallest I've racked into are half-gallon bottles, and it filled real fast.
My wife always professed her desire to marry a man with a body like a Greek god. Somehow I don't think she meant one shaped like Bacchus...

Yep, it really foams and mechanical pumping (perhaps with the exception of vaccum) are really not suitable for bottling,
Gravity filling is a better gentler option, save the pump for racking and pumping the wine into gravity tank.

If I were into tatoos... I would tatoo some grapes on my forarm. :P
