The vineyard I have been getting my fruit from the last 2 years is no longer going to be selling grapes. I do have 1 produce company in Phoenix that brings in one big shipment in September from northern Calf so that will most likely be my source this year but thought I would put a word out just in case somebody hears about somebody selling grapes in AZ this year. I will be looking for about 500lbs each of 2 reds.

Hi Ron, I was hoping to get grapes from your source this year. I talked to him a few weeks ago about some petit syrah. I will start looking elsewhere and see what I can find. I'll let you know.

Any luck with this yet? I'm looking for 1/2 to 1 ton this year.

Still working on it but I know that Brett & Ken in Tucson got fruit from a small vineyard outside Douglas last year. If I hear something I will post it. Again as a back up source for me will be Peddlers Son Produce in Phoenix.

Thank you, Ron. Ken mentioned a Phx outlet during our recent chat, but I've found nothing online yet.

Just had the following exchange with Peddler's Son.

----------------------------------------

Greg,

Great to hear from our wine makers! We should be getting some information from our supplier within the next week or two. Our first newsletter will go out right after we get the word on what should be available. Do we have your email or address for our newsletter? If not, you may sign up for our newsletter at http://ow.ly/5J07K. Otherwise, you may send your mailing address to me.

Thanks for your interest and we look forward to seeing you on Wine Grape Day!

The email newsletter is only information sent at the beginning of August and then at the end with pricing. We won't be filling up your email with lots of newsletters, but it is a way for us to communicate the information in a quick, cost effective channel. We'd love for you to register! You may also provide your email address to us at wine@peddlersson.com.

Thanks for posting information about us and let me know if you have any other questions!

Anyone else in Tucson looking to buy from Peddler's? I see they require a minimum of 50 cases to deliver, and I only need 30.

Feel free to contact me at sacomella at gmail dot com or two nine six nine three eight three.
