Just bought a shiny new Spiedel 110L V/V tank from morewine which I'm excited to put to use. I've never used one before and I was a little surprised how much force is required to move the lid up and down in the tank when the gasket is deflated. It does move smoothly but it takes about two minutes to slowly push it all the way to the bottom and pulling it up takes even longer. Does this sound normal?

Cheers

Do you have the white or clear bladders? I never had the problem you describe until I switched some of my bladders to the white ones sold by More Wine. When uninflated, they are much thicker than the normal clear bladders and, in the instance where the top with the bladder fit too snugly insider the container, you have to slowly push the top down to the juice.
