Water Cooler Mash/lauter Tun Plans

I had been using stock pots in coolers for mash tuns and a bucket with holes in the bottom inside a bucket with a spigot for a lauter tun. That they just did work is about the best thing I can say for them. I want to do 10 gallon batches and am thinking of making a converted water cooler style combo mash/lauter tun. There are a lot of plans on the internet but I'd like to know what others have made and honest feedback on how well the work. Thanks!
I use a 5 gallon Igloo Cooler with a weldless valve assembly and a stainless screen inside. I originally just took the spigot out of the cooler and installed a rubber bung with a piece of 3/8" copper tube through it. I attached a stainless braid taken from a sink line connector to the 3/8" copper inside the cooler. For a valve or shutoff, I used some poly tubing connected outside the cooler to the 3/8" copper and a plastic valve. Worked great for me, but the runoff was at times slow. That is why I went with the 1/2" stainless screen and weldless fitting.
For 10 gallon batches, you would need at least a 10 gallon cooler.
