Hello
I just purchased a Fratella Marchisio 100 liter tank. I am trying to set it up properly and I am looking for photos of assembled tanks as the instructions are a bit vague. I could not find anything online. Does anyone have this tank that could post or send photos of the correct assembly and set up.
Thanks

I don't know how to post photographs. But there is nothing to assembling a tank. If there is a spiggot (most likely), screw it in the side. If you have a triclamp (possible but not likely), place the washer between the tank fitting and the end cap (or butterfly valve) and secure with the clamp. The top is the primary part requiring assembly. First the stem to the bladder is inserted through the hole in the side of the top (from the outside) and the bladder is stretched around the rim of the top. Add the air lock ( I assume you have a molpens lock) to the hole in the top so the lock is inside the saucer part of the top. I put the gasket on the top of the lid. Now using the clamps you have and the connector, connect the pump hose to the stem on the bladder and then to the stem on the pump. Finished!
To inflate, open the pump slightly by unscrewing the knob on the side and begin pumping the pump. If you can not pump, open the knob more until you can inflate the bladder. Once the bladder is inflated close the knob. To uninflate the bladder, open it all the way. Do not inflate too much while the lid is not in the tank. Now you're ready. Float the top on your wine and inflate. Resist the temptation to over inflate. Just snug it up.
FWIW. Cut the top off the calpens lock leaving as much of a tube as you can and inset a bung in the tube. This allows for volume changes in the tank due to temperature and pressure changes. It also allows for either a solid or drilled bung with air lock to be used - depending where you are in the process. I like the ability to draw samples or stir the lees without taking the top totally off. Recently I saw where someone created a similiar tube with PVC.

i have a 100 litre marchisio v/v tank & i am looking to upgrade the lid seal. i was wondering if the seals that "morewine" sells for the spiedel tanks will work on the marchisio model.
