Hi all,
Just thought I would throw some feelers out there to all the grape growers as far as projected dates of when you will harvest on the different types of grapes. We seem to be late here on the East Coast with many types compared to last year due to all the rain this year but would appreciate anyones thoughts or observations on the matter East to West, North to South!
Make sure you tell me what state you are located.
Thanks!
Joe

On a recent trip to some local vineyards in Southern IL, one winery had already picked everything off the vines. Another had the majority of it all picked, with the remaining grapes spoken for by another winery. They seem to be a hot commodity around here.
That's whey I'm looking to have some shipped in from vineyard/winery unknown.
Good post though.
Cheers,
joel

Hi Joe, One vineyard I know finished seedless Concords the first week of the month. (Mechanically) One picked Chardonnay on the 6th. Started Concords on the 13th, and still picking. Mike

Wow, my Chard climbed two briks in six days. That hurricane has stalled warm sunny weather over us. Harvest may come earlier than expected.
