I got my stuff back from the sandblaster/powder coater and I am very happy with the quality of work. If it is red it has been powder coated, if it is black then I painted it myself, and if it looks like stainless steel then it is. There is a cover that goes over the destemmer section but I left it off for the pictures. Wish it was September/October so I could give it a go. I will have to make some sort of mount for a macro bin for our 1000lbs of cab and then a stand & chute for the smaller batches but for now I like to sit in the garage with a healthy pour of something red and just stare...
I heard someone say shut up and show us the pictures so I will...

What a transformation. Nice job!
Just out of curiosity, what does the top gear turn? An auger?

I am also looking for a stand with chute. Plans anyone?
Thought about 1 inch square tubing for a frame... then the all important stainless steel for the chute...

The paddles just keep the grapes moving along.
Great job, it all came together very nicely.

I am going to build mine out of 3/4 square tubing which will match the frame of the Crusher. The crusher has holes in the bottom which, I assume this is what they are for, I will build pins in the stand to keep everything lined up.
I will also build the chute out of stainless sheet metal but that leads me to a question. How much of a drop angle should I have. I want it to be as flat as possible to minimize how high the stand and crusher will have to be but it needs to be steep enough so I don't have to help must solids make it to their new home. Does anybody have a stainless chute that can measure the rate of descent for me?

(crosses fingers that I will someday find a crusher destemmer and/or press on craigslist)

I sacrificed a bit of stability with the front wheels going out to the side but this allows me to roll it right up to a macro bin.
