It is the Flex netting. I'm not sure of the grade as I did not realize they made more than one. I'll call and find out but I think it is the Premium.

Hi Greg;
I'll be needing netting in a couple of years and have just started looking at what's available. I'm curious, why did you choose the Flex over the Easy-Fit? Do you prefer the stretch?

Thanks for the updates everyone. I hope you all are successful at keeping the birds away!

Brett,
We like this particular net for many reasons. Cost, light weight, ease of use, easy to store and the stretch. For our quadrilateral trellis, we stretch them a little across the width. For the bilaterals, we stretch it lenghtwise which saves us up to 10%.

The black poly nets are horrible by comparison.

Are you kidding? Do you think there was any damage to the netting? I did not insure it for more than the $100 minimum because I figured how much damage can they do to nylon nets, right? I guess I should have known better.

I'm glad the rest of it came through unharmed. smile.gif

The check came in Saturday. I appreciate the early payment. smileycheers.gif

Greg,
The net's fine, I'm sure! There were just little fistfulls hanging out a few holes, plus one huge hole in the top. The top hole was a tear about 15" long. None of the net appeared to be snagged or anything. Haven't unpacked the net, just the other box, but I'm sure it's fine. Not worried about it at all, don't you either! I was just shocked that the inner box was still there! The one hole was big enough that the inner box could have fallen out or been taken out, and it was very easy to reach just sticking my hand inside. Whew! That would have been terrible if it had disappeared! We're thrilled to get it!
Let me know what I owe you for the contents of the smaller box. I would have been thrilled to get one, but three is incredible! Been wanting one of these for nearly 3 years, thought we'd have to drive to CA to make it happen.
Thank You again!

Very nice, Gregorio. The nets, what we've used so far, all seem totally intact. We are very happy with it. I don't know what was eating at the box, but they didn't touch the net. Thank you again!

Boy, I agree! We put your netting up tonight, Greg, and I just have to say that it's much easier to use than the poly net.

After we finished, my wife turned to me and asked, "okay, can I toss that old black netting in the trash now?"

Yep. cool.gif

We love it too. It took us a couple rows to get smart about it though. We cut the first one to length, then carried it from the yard to the vineyard and put it up. How'd we come up 50 ft. short???
Second row we cut 50' longer... carried it to the vineyard and... 15' short! Sheesh! So we loaded the rest into the back of the Jeep, hauled it to the vineyard, pulled out what we needed, covered the row perfectly, then cut. Perfect! One thing I have more of than some of you: a huge learning curve! smile.gif
Wonderful net! I especially like the white lines and the double line down the center!
We also have a few hundred feet of the black netting. I like that it doesn't stretch. But that's about all I like about it. I like the nets from Greg much better! The stretching is actually a plus once you know what you're doing.
