As you all know, its FREE for everyone to register in the WinePress.US Forum. The reason that this site keeps going without any charges to you, is because of the great sponsors we have. I have been a member of various discussion forums, and I know what I liked and didn't like. I hated the yahoo, google or msn format where you have to click thru an entire advertisement just to read a post, or to make a post. I've hated pop up ads too.

So, in the best interest making this site more user friendly to the users / members of WinePress.US, I decided to go with the rotating banner ad at the very top. Each time you open a page, a different banner ad comes up on the top of each page. So, the more they pay to support this site, the more times their banner is displayed each month.

I'd appreciate it if you'd consider these supporting advertisers first in your future purchases. Nearly all of them are members here in the forum as well. Also, when you do contact them, please be sure to let them know you appreciate their support of the WinePress.US discussion forum. Each time you click on their banner ad, you're brought to their perspective home page. Some of them have customized their home pages to specifically welcome WinePress.US users, as well as some special purchase discounts.

So, please check out the current list of supporting advertisers, and give them a chance for your business, and please also thank them for supporting WinePress.US. Cheers, Joel

I think I have used about half of the listed supporters to date. I have received excellant service from all and look forward to continuing my support to them.

I also wanted to mention that it is possible to assist Joel in his efforts to maintain this wonderful forum by making a contribution. I myself have in the past and will again. Every little bit helps.

Note: I hope the above is acceptable Joel. I think we all owe you and the moderators of this site a great deal for all the service and support we receive.

updated, and added a list of advertisers who have left WinePress.US.. Feel free to email them and tell them about the 10 million hits WP gets each month, and how large WP is, and the value of advertising on the largest winemaking / grape growing forum on the entire Internet for small wineries and home winemakers. Feel free to have them email me at joel at WinePress.US

Cheers,
joel

The gun company seems an odd fit. but I guess if it keeps the forum live.
Gun ads are illegal in Canada , sometimes I feel like our american neighbours are brothers sometimes distant cousins, culturally
no judgement just an observation, I have a a shotgun I use for grizzly and wolverine protection when I'm fly fishing

I have been talking to the people at Springfield Armory for nearly a year now, and they've been watching the traffic on WinePress.US. They are a respectable company with respectable products. I personally have nearly a dozen guns in my safe, and hope to add one of their new XD-M composit pistols soon to my collection.

On top of that, yes, they are helping keep this site free for you to use. Cheers, and be safe,
Joel

Is the list current? I don't see Springfield on it...
My wife always professed her desire to marry a man with a body like a Greek god. Somehow I don't think she meant one shaped like Bacchus...

Shot their XD-90 on the range a few weeks ago. It's a nice gun. You might consider hitting up some of the other firearm and ammunition manufacturers that have been enjoying record sales since the current administration and congress took office.
