I just got home from the farm with a carboy full of milk. They raised their prices, it's up to $12.50 for 5 gallons now. Inflation reared it's ugly head in the cheese world. Alice is making cheese today, and I'm making beer. I'll probably also rack some wine around, just cause. All of this is just marching in place, killing time till 8 oclock tonight when the Pats will go 17 - 0. Whhoooooooo!!!!!!!

We got a lot of little teenage blue-eyed n00b'ies
Who do anything we say
We got Gregorio down in the cellar
He's teachin' us a better way
We got all the grapes that money can buy
So we never have to be unstoned
And we keep gettin' drunker but we can't get our picture

Wow $2.50 a gallon. In this neck of the woods that is a bargain. I pay either $3.50 or $4.00 a gallon. So what cheese(s) is the misses making today? I just put some curds into some Camembert molds but I used Ricki's online method for Brie, instead of her Camembert method from her book. Completely different techniques.

And what kind of beer too, eh?

Ain't applied microbiology grand. smile.gif
