Hello everyone I have been gone for a couple of months but am back in the swing of things with my second batch of wine. I received my Meglioli Tacai del Veneto ltd edition kit and put it on on April 27th.
What an amazing 23l kit this is! I picked it up late (my fault) and my retailer was a litle concerned about it as it is not a pastuerised kit. Howvever I took it home and put it on immediately and I am hoping it will be okay.
The juice was an amazing, golden colour with a very sweet aroma. Now that is has been fermenting for a few days it smells of nothing but yeast, but I am growing to like that smell. <laugh> I had better as I live in a 1 bedroom apartment!
Anyway, some people had mentioned being interested in the outcome of this kit when I reported that I had ordered it back in December. I will keep you up to date on it's progress and I have very high expectations for it.
