I'm thinkin I may be bottling this weekend. Judging by the weather forecast there will be nothing else to do anyway. Well there is always he local brewery and homebrew supply place (tastings and all) smileycheers.gif ....
but seriously I hope to bottle up "First Effort Riesling" and I am thinkin of starting a trial gallon batch of mead...

Jeff,

I hope the weather stays crappy so you can mess with your wines this weekend. tongue.gif

It's supposed to be 62 and sunny all weekend here. Almost time to start farming..

Have a great weekend,
cheers,
joel

Hi Jeff;

It is always a bummer when spring arrives and you are stuck indoors doing the wine thing.

Don't sample too much ( you decide how much is too much).

Remember that the mead is going to be a slow process. Clearing can take as much as a year.

Wrong Jeff;

It is Anticipation, patience, OK. Its GOT to be ready.

As my wife said to me quite sagely one day. Patience my rear end. I'm gonna drink something.
