I tried a recipe I found here that called for 3-4# per gallon plus I added 15 jars 18oz of BB jam and the SG wouldnt go below 1.022 and it was too sour to drink. I believe all the pectin gave it a false reading to begin with.
The wild berries had very little sugar in them. I guess I should go north(Middlefield) to Amish country and see what's available.
